The whole episode is great, but everyone needs to pause on the newspaper. The “Crazy Feline” reference is pure gold. And be sure to stay to the very end.

Resident Evil film reference. Now they’re going through the Dark Maze™.

Ooh, this was a great episode! Can’t wait to buy the flick this Friday. 😀

Yep, Mad Catz, Cyberxion. I didn’t get it either until I got partway through the article realizing I would have to think of what would be some other words for “Crazy Feline” and it clicked instantly.

Mad Catz huh? They made the game shark yes? Possible connection to game genie? 😛

Game genie was made by goloob or however you spell it, still they’re both cheat devices. And thus the plot thickens?…maybe not.

If you pause at the news article it mentions that they sold “crappy knock off merchandise” wasn’t there a “meet the cast” related to such a thing?

XD You have no idea how hard I laugh at your alternatives to “Hell”! These are brilliant 😀

And the Pac-ghosts turning blue was a brilliant buildup to the end…..suspense!

    Can’t wait! 😀

anyone else notice that the maze is the same one used in the “dark maze” logo, pretty suspicious if ask me.

  • So will it be available to order at midnight tonight or sometime during the day tomorrow?

WAIT……. if you can’t die in hell, what happened to the devil Vile defeated? Also, who’s the devil now? Guardian tree?

    So many questions…. 😛

Yeah, I noticed that too. This episode was filled with tons of really fun references like that one. 😀

So, what did happen to the other occupants of “Taoist Reference Not Found”? Really loved the creepy girl “You are all gong to die” reference! Brilliant!

Cheesy end, and pretty nice for a series (of cartoons and movies) that focus heavily on a few characters interacting each other rather than on massive battles ála Helm’s Pit (or whatever Abismo de Helm is said in English); it wouldn’t fit that well if Vile managed to bring all his legions from Hell – it’s easier to relate to a few cheesy characters than a zillion goons. Also, a really, really outstanding return of Vile’s long forgotten Nemesis: Pac-Man & Pac-Manettes (completely absent for the whole 2nd season, and for the 3rd ’til this). I’ve never EVER thought that pizza-shaped bugged would be the killer in that Silent Hill-esque scene (say… a creppy ghost girl who resembles Kairi – that’s another game, dude – and a white-noise radio… it was chilling for a humor seires, but in a cheesy way).

Also, nice reboot of Team-Evil’s concept: instead of über-powerful-utterly-nuts magician and all his legions, you get an evil corporation (á la Shinra; won’t Scarthcaroth – who IS to return for the movie, as seen in trailers – try to overthrow them, just as Sephiroth did in FF7?). Nice use of the superpower of Master at Business Administration.

(PD: How do you change fonts to italics or bold?)

  • Galent Knight: That’s very suspicious indeed…

Justin & Sabaah: You saw what happened to the poor victims of those yellow chompy things… As for who’s in charge, I’m sure that’s nothing a bout of Soul Tournament can’t determine.

Thanks Marvin! Also, I think this blog accepts HTML. I think…

  • I think the most pressing and concerning issue is that Burlap Boy is loose upon the world. God only knows the horrors he will unleash.
