Sam ´s voice in helmet was little off, wasn´t it? I mean in the trailer it´s once again the familiar form but not in this. But amazing story and I can´t wait for 3/11!

Excellent episode! The method of obtaining Lin-Ku’s axe was fantastic. That was probably the enemy I hated most in the Zelda games. And Vlad, I love Vlad, about to unleash his wrath, then oh, nevermind, we got what we came for.

  • Vlad is off the hook! Call backs in every frame here, I love it. Especially the musical remixes. Also this was the first time I caught a look at Cricket in the trailer. Awesome!

A PSA DVD should definitely be in order. Can’t wait for PS2:C.

Tadonari, agreed! It was awesome seeing Vlad in action. And even more awesome once he decided to go all out. Then 20 time more awesome to see him get out of dodge once he realized the Like Like had the axe. Very funny! And then it gets even more funny, since he has the axe and can get Vile out of Hades, Vile’s first request is cereal.

    Mr. Glaser,

    I had a genious idea.

Why not a Press Start videogame ?
A good old style one…Think about it !

    🙂

  • Actually, I wonder if I still have the original “Jackam-O’s” box art from Press Start 1…

Xarogoth, a Press Start game would be great, but since we’re filmmakers rather than game designers, it’s a bit difficult. 😉

Scarborough (Xarogoth), there are plenty of game making tools out there. Even for those that cannot program. Give it a shot. I actually got a few of them for the same purpose, but the task at making a video game, that is playable, is a gigantic task. I tried to make a Press Start game that was Zelda-like, and failed miserably.

Oh, and for Kevin, it took me about 3 watches to catch the reference to Flower (which I just bought a few days ago) and 5 or more watches to notice the Yoshi-like character devouring the Portal droid. I caught many other references along the way, but those two tickled me quite a bit. I love watching the episodes over and over because they are great, and even more so because I catch something new each time.

  • That’s great to hear Steve! We try very hard to hide lots of gags and references so that watching Press Start stuff many many times is worth everyone’s while. 🙂

  • Hey Ed and Kevin, if a Press Start video game is too hard to make, you could always make a board game…

Hell, it could even include Jackamo cards!
