I love the “Making of” videos! It’s really great to get even more insight into the movie and you’re doing a good job giving a taste and I don’t feel spoiled. When do we get an announcement of the special features on the DVD? And since you mentioned that everyone was on board for a sequel right away after the first, are you already thinking up something for Press Start 3 (A Lin-Ku to the Past?)?

  2. So the new princess’s name has finally been revealed! All I need now is a spelling. Z or X? One n or two?

  3. Justin says:

Hahaha, I like how at 4:50, while they’re talking about “Jakamo culture” and such, the music suddenly turns very eerie and ominous 😛

    *Xanna, I’m pretty sure

    “A Lin-Ku to the Past” <— heheh
I doubt that would be a possible title, considering Lin,Ku is the main character in this one 😛

    Again, can't wait! 😀

  4. Luc Beaulieu says:

Press Start 3: Game over !
It could be a nice title. :p

  5. Steve Ulven says:

It is Xanna, you can see details on the IMDB page and she was also referenced all the way back in Press Start Adventures episode 25 if you pause and read the newspaper article the Paperboy is holding up when zoomed in.

  6. Ed Glaser says:

Looks like you guys beat me to it. Yep, it’s Xanna. 🙂

Special features announcement is forthcoming, along with the DVD art. Hang in there just a little longer.

  7. Andre DeJesus says:

I have a concern that i need to voice.

I know Lin-ku is the main character in PS2, but i hope you didn’t short change Sam and Zack. I hat it in movies when they focus on new characters and neglect the originals. With the duo relocated to Vile’s dungeon playing Jakamo, I’m a little worried that they’ll be ineffectual side characters. I wan to see non-ninja sword fights and fps shooters (and DDR),

  8. Steve Ulven says:

Cool, thanks for the update, Ed. I’m patient (as patient as one can be considering this is the most exiting thing I have planned all year), and highly look forward to it. You fine folks did a great job with the special features on PS1 (which I watch/listen to repeatedly) so I am really excited to hear about the special features for PS2.

  9. Mattwo says:

I didn’t really like the first movie, but this one sure is looking to be a better one!

  10. Mattwo says:

Lin-ku and Xanna I got that she’s supposed to be Zelda but I totally missed the Lin-ku part 😛 the “exuuuuuseeee me princess” line is now even funnier.

  11. Andre:

We don’t want to give away too much about the movie, but I did want to at least assure you that Zack and Sam’s story DOES matter in this story, and all our heroes will get thier time in the spotlight.

  12. Sabaah says:

“Don’t trust an evil Count.” Always wise advice. :-p

  13. Andre DeJesus says:

Thank you for clearing that up. The change in tone and scenery threw me off, but i want you to know that i loved the trailer and am anticipating the movie just as much as everyone else.

Seriously, i think i had a nerdgasm when Vlad appeared.

    Thanks again.

  14. Rhodan says:

Is it just me or is Peter Davies kinda frustrated?

  15. Ed Glaser says:

Haha, I think it’s just you. There’s a lot of interview footage that didn’t make it in, but during the whole interview Peter was cracking us up. A lot of the editing involved chopping out Peter’s laughter — or mine. 😀
