Ninja Operation: Knight and Warrior Commentary

Ninja Operation: Knight and Warrior
Hong Kong filmmakers Joseph Lai and Godfrey Ho gained notoriety in the ’80s by crowbarring stray ninja scenes into unrelated movies. But in one remarkable case it was the other way around. Ninja Operation: Knight and Warrior, aka “Ninja: Silent Assassin,” aka “Black Ninja” is roughly 80% original (and hilarious) IFD-produced ninja material, with only a few scattered scenes from Taiwanese actioner “A Girl Rogue.”

It’s also one of my absolute favorites, so it was a pleasure to team up with my Golden Ninja Podcast co-host Kenneth Brorsson for a commentary track on the film, which you can watch and listen to below!
