8 Hilarious Ninja Commandments

By Ed Glaser | Monday, July 28, 2014

When cinematic Frankensteins Joseph Lai and Godfrey Ho stitched their Crayola ninja footage to action-packed Korean kung fu flicks and Taiwanese shoot-em-ups, you could almost imagine you were watching complete, coherent films. The problem was, Lai’s company IFD also had all these dreary family melodramas and cheap horror pictures collecting dust in their library. And they couldn’t add ninjas to those, could they?

Hell yes they could. Enter Ninja Commandments and Diamond Ninja Force (aka “Ghost Ninja”), two of the weirdest entries in the IFD ninja canon.

Podcast on Fire‘s Kenneth Brorsson and myself are back for the second Golden Ninja Podcast, a much deeper look into the world of IFD’s cut-and-paste flicks.
